On the morning of this Tuesday, September 21, comrade Fidel Moreno Briones, Secretary General of the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua visited the Germán Pomares neighborhood, located in the Nejapa region, to supervise the Streets for the People Project. that to date has improved 857 blocks throughout the municipality, which represents an advance of the 69% according to the 1,242 blocks projected to be improved in this year 2021.
During this supervision visit, comrade Moreno announced that the work consists of the asphalt paving of 7 new blocks, with an investment that exceeds 5.7 million córdobas, eliminating a critical point that caused flooding in 5 homes in this community of District III.
He also shared that this project completes the 100% of the paved streets in this neighborhood, thus benefiting the 329 families in the community.
For their part, the families of the sector expressed their gratitude to the Good Government, for the construction of these new blocks, as stated by the residents María José Rivas and Patricia Cortez, who said they felt happy with this work that guarantees progress and future to all the families of the sector.
