The Municipality, through the Calles para el Pueblo Program, executed a road improvement project through the asphalt coating of 319 linear meters, which corresponds to 4 blocks of streets in the Carlos Núñez neighborhood, in District VII of the Capital, which were previously in bad shape.
The project had an investment cost of 2 million 403 thousand córdobas and directly benefits 4 thousand 800 inhabitants.
The official delivery of the project was presided over by the Vice Mayor of Managua, Enrique Armas Rosales who, when addressing those present, stated that the road works were carried out thanks to the goodwill of Commander Daniel and Vice President Compañera Rosario to meet the needs of the Nicaraguan families.
“The residents are very happy because now it can rain, but they will no longer have those currents, those mud flats, those pegones that they had before, now they will be able to enter the collective and selective transport vehicles, the patrols and the ambulances to this area of the Carlos Núñez, ”said Armas.
Doña María José Obando has lived in this neighborhood for 28 years and felt very grateful to God and the Good Government for this benefit, “I bless all the workers of the Mayor's Office of Managua and those who made this effort, that they continue with the name of Jesus Christ ”.
Yelitza Rodríguez also expressed herself, "with God's help this became possible, because he has put the President in his heart to see for the people and for the poorest people."
Before concluding, the Vice Mayor Armas stressed that since 2009 to date, the Good Government has invested in this area, more than 20 million córdobas, in projects of storm drainage, sanitary sewer, construction of vehicle bridge box, gutters, platforms , as well as the delivery of 10 decent homes to the same number of families.
