Inhabitants of the William Galeano neighborhood open 9 blocks

Committed to guaranteeing better living conditions for families in the capital, the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua delivered 9 paved blocks in the William Galeano neighborhood, located in District III of Managua.

The work was inaugurated by colleague Jennifer Porras López, Secretary of the Managua Council, who announced that this road improvement project was carried out through the 2021 Streets for the People Program, which to date has improved and built 844 blocks of the 1,242 projected for this year 2021, which represents a 68% of advance.

Likewise, he informed that this work of the common good had an investment of 6 million 616 thousand 132 córdobas, significantly improving the lives of 665 families in the sector, who will now live in decent conditions, due to the elimination of ponds and dust, which represent sources of diseases and pollution; in addition, they will have better access for emergency vehicles, selective transport and household garbage collection.
