Everything with love, in victorious hopes, this September 14 in celebration of the Bicentennial of the First Independence of Central America and the heroic battle of San Jacinto, the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua inaugurated a road improvement in the Marcos Somarriba neighborhood of District III of Managua .
The 3-block road improvement project using hydraulic concrete, benefited 1 thousand 56 inhabitants, who will have a passable and accessible road network.
"This project to restore rights for the more than 220 families in this part of Managua, had an investment of 4 million 728 thousand 922.44 córdobas and is part of the emblematic Program Streets for the People 2021", said the Vice Mayor of Managua, Compañero Enrique Armas Rosales.
Initially, the program contemplated serving 830 blocks, but the Good Government authorities directed its expansion, with the addition of 412 new blocks; In other words, the new projection for this year includes a total of 1,242 improved blocks, which to date is an advance of the 65%, with 784 blocks built.
"We are happy, we did not think that this restitution of rights was going to come soon, here you could not walk, they were pure puddles when it rained and rocky ground in the summer, but now it is beautiful with these paved streets," said Silvia Rayo.
