Dignified housing and asphalt street reach the Jorge Dimitrov neighborhood

In celebration of the Bicentennial of the First Independence, the Good Government through the Municipality inaugurated this Wednesday, September 8, two works of the Common Good in the Jorge Dimitrov neighborhood, located in District I.

One of the works was the construction of a house, which benefited the family of Mrs. Feliciana de la Concepción Zúniga, who was grateful to the Commune and the brothers of the people of Taiwan because now they will have a decent and safe house to share with their children and grandchildren.

At the same time, the capital authorities delivered a road improvement project, consisting of 190 linear meters of an asphalt street, through the Calles para el Pueblo Program, with an investment of 874 thousand córdobas, which benefits more than 6 thousand people who live in this community. 

The inauguration of the works was presided over by the Mayor of Managua, Reyna Rueda Alvarado, who announced that in this neighborhood, 73 decent homes have been built from 2011 to date and an amount greater than 40 has been invested million córdobas, in road improvement works, storm drainage, sanitary sewerage, as well as the renovation of parks.

The opening ceremony took place in a family and community atmosphere, with piñatas and children's activities for the children and medical care for the population.
