Improvement of streets in the Carlos Núñez neighborhood of District VII advances

In the Carlos Núñez neighborhood of District VII of Managua, a road improvement project is being developed as part of the Streets for the People 2021 Program, this work was supervised, on the morning of this Wednesday, September 8, by comrade Fidel Moreno, Secretary General of the capital Commune, who announced that the program in general is progressing at a good pace.

To date, this emblematic program that brings progress and well-being to families, has completed 784 new blocks, for an advance of the 65%, of the 1,242 blocks projected to be executed in this year 2021.

Moreno reported that this road improvement consists of the paving of 4 blocks, with an investment of 2.8 million córdobas and will have a direct impact on 1,200 residents who live in the area.

Parallel to this project, similar tasks are carried out in 14 different sectors of the Capital city, beginning with the relocation of the pluvial drainage and sanitary sewer pipes, as well as the preparation of the base and sub-base of the streets.
