18 new blocks in the Las Torres neighborhood of District IV

On the afternoon of this September 2, the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua delivered 18 new blocks to families in the Las Torres neighborhood, as part of the restitution of rights to have decent streets.

The road improvement was inaugurated by Mayor Reyna Rueda Alvarado, who stated that the work had an investment of 4 million 680 thousand córdobas and was carried out through the 2021 Streets for the People Program, directly benefiting 5,650 inhabitants of the sector.

Likewise, he announced that in the last 10 years in this community, the Good Sandinista Government has invested more than 30 million córdobas, in road improvement works, storm drainage, sanitary sewerage, public lighting and in the construction of 70 decent homes. , to improve the living conditions of the more than 833 families in this neighborhood.

The residents were happy with all the works carried out by the Good Government, as expressed by the resident Marisela Alemán and Mr. Sergio Ortiz.

“Twelve years ago, the Las Torres neighborhood was a neighborhood where there were no paved streets, there was no public lighting service, some sectors lacked drinking water and no sanitary sewers, but now we have all those services, thanks to the efforts made the Sandinista government, ”Ortiz said.
