With an investment of more than 25 million córdobas, the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua executes two projects of the Common Good in the Israel Lewites market that will benefit the working conditions of more than 120 merchants and the attention to their visitors.
This project was supervised by the Vice Mayor of Managua, Enrique Armas Rosales and comrade Freddy Casco, COMMEMA General Director, who disclosed the details of these works.
The first project consists of the reconstruction of the shellfish gallery, which will have a construction area of 889.6 square meters, that is, it will have a space of 80 linear meters long and 11.12 wide, with a height of 5.6 meters, which will provide greater ventilation for merchants in the 62 sections that will house this new building.
The second work that was visited was the urbanization of spaces for merchants on the south side of the market, which will be affected by the expansion of the San Juan Pablo II road, where 62 commercial spaces are enabled, which will have storm drainage, sewerage sanitary, public lighting, paved streets and a battery of sanitary services.
