The Good Government, with the support of China Taiwan through the Mayor's Office of Citizen Power of Managua, built two new decent houses, in the Laureles Sur neighborhood in District VII, for the families of Martha María Calderón and Yolanda Verónica Galeano.
The protagonists lost their home two weeks ago due to the rain that fell and caused their houses to collapse and with the delivery of these 2 houses, the emblematic decent housing program has benefited 23 families in this neighborhood, which has a population of 7,920 inhabitants, distributed in 1 thousand 584 families.
“As a municipal government, since 2017 we have been serving the streets of the neighborhood through the Annual Investment Plan (PIA) and the Streets for the People Program. As of today, this neighborhood has all the basic services of water, electricity and public transport, ”said the Vice Mayor of Managua, Enrique Armas Rosales.
"We feel happy, because now if we are no longer going to fear that the water will run out, we will get wet every winter, thanks to the goodwill directed by Commander Daniel and Vice President Rosario Murillo," said Martha Calderón.
Mr. Iván Lo, Minister Counselor to the Ambassador of Taiwan in Nicaragua, said he was happy to have transformed the lives of these two main families.
