Volleyball competition reaches the final stretch

In the gym facilities of the Nicaraguan Institute of Sports, the final of the women's and men's volleyball of the Managua 2021 Youth Games was held, in a lively sports day full of adrenaline and emotion, where the Las Panteras teams in men and the Tiburonas de Granada in women obtained first place in the tournament.

The final of this competition was chaired by the Mayor of Managua, Reyna Rueda Alvarado, who said that this volleyball day is part of the support provided by the Good Government to sports and healthy recreation in children, youth and adolescents.

He also explained that in this tournament more than 300 young people and adolescents participated in the U13, U18 female and U19 categories in the male branch, where the young athletes demonstrated their talent and sports capabilities, which took place during 3 months in Luis Park. The result of this great women's final was the Mateare academy team in third place, Las Panteras Junior in second and Las Tiburonas de Granada in first place; On the male side, the third place was obtained by the Inmaculada school, the second by the academy of the Mayor's Office of Managua and the first place was reached by the Las Panteras team.
