This Wednesday, August 25, comrade Fidel Moreno Briones, Secretary General of the Capital Commune, made a supervision visit to the construction of section I of 25th Street, which runs from the traffic lights of the old Nunciature to the Benjamin Zeledón school , a segment that joins a 4-lane road corridor, which will run from the Batahola radial to United Nations Avenue.
Section I of 25 Calle, is a project that, in addition to the construction of the 4 lanes, will have 2 vehicular bridges at each end, with a storm drain and sanitary sewer system; So from now on, progress is being made in the preliminary work of installing the domestic plumbing, the electrical and communication lines.
The work is expected to be carried out in a period of 75 to 90 days, that is, it will be completed in the month of November and later execution works will begin on section II, which is located in the sector of the Nicaraguan Institute of Sports.
Moreno highlighted that this road is located to the north of the San Juan Pablo II track, so this road corridor will function as an alternate route at the time of construction of said track; He also added that 2 additional vehicular bridges are being built in the Andrés Castro and Colonia Independencia neighborhoods, which will guarantee the fluidity of traffic in the area.
