Family affected by rain receives decent housing in eight days

In a period of eight days, the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua built an emergency home for the protagonist Zeneyda Díaz Ortega, who in recent days because of the rains, her house collapsed in the 10 de Enero neighborhood of District VII.

The construction of the house was the immediate response to prevent this family of 5 people from spending as little time as possible out in the open, shared the Mayor of Managua, Reyna Rueda Alvarado.

"Thank God we have a work team that allows a quick response to these types of situations, the guidance of Commander Daniel and Compañera Rosario is that a solution be found immediately, so the day after the house fell, we made ourselves present, as of today our sister Zeneyda will live with tranquility and security, which is the most important thing, ”said Rueda.

Doña Zeneyda who works on her own, washing at home, from now on the restitution of rights will be part of her life.

“I feel happy and grateful to President Daniel and Compañera Rosario, the day my house fell I felt the world falling on me, I never imagined that on Monday morning they would come to see how I was, that day I They said we are going to help him, in a week we are going to build his house and that's how it was, it seems like a dream but that's the way it was and that is only done by a President when he is a humanist and has the support of friends like the people of Taiwan ”.

For his part, the Ambassador of China (Taiwan), Jaime Chin-Mu Wu, said that it is satisfactory to see how this program combats poverty and vulnerability.

“We can see all the efforts of the government of President Daniel to attend to these emergency cases and dignify the lives of these families and restore tranquility and security, that is why we are supporting the transfer of this program to 50 municipalities in the country. so that other families have the opportunity to live in dignified conditions ”.
