

















On the afternoon of this Thursday, August 19, the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua inaugurated 4 new blocks through hydraulic concrete lining and drainage works that were previously on the ground, in the Oscar Turcios neighborhood of District I of the capital.
This project to restore rights had an investment of 5 million 207 thousand 126.72 córdobas and is part of the Annual Investment Plan 2021, a work that benefits 8 thousand 784 inhabitants of 1 thousand 756 families in this sector.
"This road improvement work and drainage works will contribute to improving the conditions of the residents of the neighborhood and its surroundings, guaranteeing a passable and accessible road network," said the Mayor of Managua, Reyna Rueda Alvarado.
He also affirmed that since 2013 to date, road improvement and drainage works have been carried out in 15 blocks of streets, with an investment of 20 million 639 thousand 643.68 córdobas.
With the Dignified Housing Program in this neighborhood, 13 families have benefited, thus contributing to a positive change in the lives of the inhabitants.
"We are satisfied with these projects, before here I was forgotten, but thanks to the Good Government our lives have changed," said one of the protagonists, Eddy Balladares.
The mayor of the capital reiterated that the emblematic Program Streets for the Town 2021 continues to advance, the expansion of the program initially contemplated serving 830 blocks and now with the sum of 412 new blocks, a total of 1,242 improved blocks is projected and is progressing from 55 %, with 683 streets built.
