Capital authorities carry out road improvement supervision in the Héroes y Mártires de Batahola neighborhood

The Secretary General of the Capital Commune, comrade Fidel Moreno Briones, carried out on the morning of this Wednesday, August 18, a supervision visit to the road improvement project through asphalt resurfacing in the Héroes y Mártires neighborhood of Batahola Sur, in District II of Managua.

This road work includes the paving of 2 blocks that were totally destroyed, guaranteeing better conditions to 6 thousand inhabitants of this sector and has an investment of 986 thousand 400 córdobas, executed through the emblematic Program Streets for the People 2021.

"With these two blocks the neighborhood is completely completed with its lined streets, for the well-being of the families in this part of the Capital," said the capital official.

Moreno explained that the expansion of the program initially contemplated serving 830 blocks and now with the addition of 412 new blocks, a total of 1,242 improved blocks is projected and has an advance of 55 %, with 683 streets built.

"In general, the program is progressing very well, we continue to advance to the extent that the rain allows it, we have not had, thank God, damage caused by rain, we have not had major consequences in our municipal projects," added Moreno.

From 2011 to 2021 at this point in the Capital, the Municipality has invested an amount that amounts to 11 million cordobas, in projects of the common good for the well-being of families.
