El Recreo Sur neighborhood celebrates 8 new coated blocks

Two thousand 814 families from the El Recreo Sur neighborhood, located in District III, were benefited by the 2021 Streets for the People Program, which covered 8 new blocks with asphalt that were previously on land, significantly improving the lives of the inhabitants of the sector. .

The work was inaugurated by the Mayor of Managua, Reyna Rueda Alvarado, who announced that the road improvement had an investment of 2 million 948 thousand 275 cordobas, directly benefiting 13 thousand 333 protagonists who will now have greater pedestrian and vehicular access in emergency situations.

Likewise, he reported that in recent years the Good Government has invested more than 13 million córdobas in projects that contribute to the well-being of families, including: construction of 59 decent homes, 6 road improvement projects and the construction of a vehicular bridge .

“This is part of the attention paid by our President and Vice President, Compañera Rosario, who have made that permanent commitment to our people, through these beautiful projects, of love, of well-being, handing over a street the neighborhood is transformed totally, ”added Rueda.

The residents were satisfied with the improvement of their streets and thanked the Good Government, because after several years, now if progress has reached their community.

"This population spent a long time with terrible, frightening streets, but now the government and the Mayor's Office of Managua have totally changed and turned the style and the transformation has dignified the population," said the protagonist Juan José Navarrete.

Doña Olivia Altamirano, a resident of this neighborhood recalled that in her childhood she could not enjoy these new conditions, "since we were little the joy that we wanted to play with skates, bicycles and now it is a reality that our Commander is doing."
