Third date of the quarter mile in Managua

Hundreds of citizens from the capital gathered on the morning of this Sunday, August 15, to enjoy the show of the Third Race of the NicaSpeed 2021 National Speed Championship, as part of the promotion of the sport in its different disciplines, which promotes the Good Government of the Commander Daniel and Compañera Vice President Rosario Murillo.

The competition of this quarter of a mile that NicaSpeed carried out with the support of the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua, had the participation of more than 80 cars that demonstrated their skill on the Villa Sol track in Managua, in the 10 categories, starting from 1300 engines to the free category of more than 1000 horsepower.

The event met the expectations of fans of four-wheel competitions, where drivers from all over the country demonstrated their high sports quality with Stock and Modified cars, putting into practice their best skills and abilities, to position themselves in the first places. and to be able to continue accumulating points in the Championship.

“The objective of the event is to contribute to the eradication of illegal races at the national level, to contribute to motor sports and to continue integrating Nicaraguan youth in the sport of speed. The ¼ Mile had all the security measures, a perimeter mesh, support from the National Police that guaranteed the order and security of the event, the presence of the Fire Department and the Nicaraguan Red Cross ”, said Eduardo Delgado, Operations Manager of NicaSpeed.
