Merchants promote offers and discounts on all their products

The merchants of the municipal markets announced sales and great offers on store products, with the 20, 30 and even the 50% discount, for which they invited Nicaraguan families to visit them and take advantage of the good prices.

Jorge González, president of the Managua Markets Merchants Association, said that in these months they have had good sales and hope to continue at the same rate, they are also well supplied and prepared for the last quarter of the year.

This announcement was made known during the visit made by the Mayor of Managua, Reyna Rueda Alvarado, to the Oriental market, as part of the model of citizen power, which promotes direct communication and articulation with merchants.

The mayor of the capital, announced that, in this year 2021, the Municipality plans to invest 34 million córdobas in different projects of the 8 markets of Managua, among the works to be executed, is the construction of a collection center in the wholesale market and another in the Virgen de Candelaria market, the construction of a gallery in the Israel Lewites market; as well as, the waterproofing of the roof in the Periférico market, the repair of 11 streets in the El Mayoreo market and the improvement of new blocks, through the Calles para el Pueblo Program.

He also added that the Municipality is making efforts with merchant associations, the National Police and other institutions to guarantee the health and public safety of merchants and buyers in the Managua markets.
