The Secretary General of the Capital Commune, comrade Fidel Moreno Briones, carried out on the morning of this Monday, August 9, a supervision visit to the road improvement project through re-peeling and asphalt coating in the Hilario Sánchez neighborhood, in District IV of Managua.
This road work includes the paving of 7 blocks, which were completely destroyed, guaranteeing better conditions to 2,840 inhabitants of this sector and has an investment of 3 million 408 thousand córdobas through the Program Streets for the People 2021.
Moreno explained that the expansion of the program initially contemplated serving 830 blocks and now with the addition of 412 new blocks, a total of 1,242 improved blocks is projected and has an advance of 53%, with 631 streets built.
"In the last four days we have advanced too much, today we are going to conclude and visit two projects, in the Hilario Sánchez neighborhood and a 5-block expansion in Bello Horizonte," said the official from the capital.
He also added that the Good Government together with the Municipality restore the rights of families, "at this rate we hope to work two daily projects so that we can intensify progress and meet the needs of the people of Managua in this framework."
