Managua celebrates 175 years of being elevated to a city

This Friday, August 6, the Municipality celebrated the 175th anniversary of Managua having been elevated to a city; commemoration, which took place in the Loma de Tiscapa historical park, where a new tourist attraction was inaugurated, in an atmosphere of music and art.

The new tourist attraction consists of a Photographic Parador with the phrase in monumental letters "I love you Managua", which have a dimension of 4 meters high and 20 meters long, where Nicaraguan families can take Selfies and admire the view of the city from above.

The work was inaugurated by the Mayor of Managua, Reyna Rueda Alvarado and the Vice Mayor Enrique Armas Rosarles, who together with councilors and the general population enjoyed an artistic gala, interpreted by the maestro Ofilio Picón and other invited musicians, in addition, from the company of Anahuac dance.
