Streets for the People Program plans to serve 1,242 blocks

On the morning of Wednesday, August 4, comrade Fidel Moreno, Secretary General of the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua announced the expansion of the 2021 Streets for the People Program, which initially contemplated serving 830 blocks and now with the sum of 412 new blocks, a total of 1,242 improved blocks are projected.

This program was expected to benefit 102 neighborhoods and with this expansion, 77 new neighborhoods will be incorporated, for a total of 179 neighborhoods benefiting from this emblematic program carried out by the Good Government.

This announcement was made by the municipal official in the supervision of the road improvement project of the Luis Alfonso Velásquez Flores neighborhood of District III, where 7 blocks are paved, which were on land, directly benefiting 198 families of this community, with an investment of approximately 3 million córdobas.

Moreno, announced that of the 830 blocks previously projected, 596 have been executed, which represents an advance of the 73% of the initial goal.
