Districts of Managua hold the semifinal to elect the Queen of the Patron Saint Festivities

In honor of the Patron Saint of the managuas, Santo Domingo de Guzmán, this July 30, the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power carried out the election of the queen of the Patron Saint Festivities of Managua 2021, simultaneously in all the districts of the Capital .

This event was held in the parking lot of the Comandante Hugo Chávez Frías Sports Complex of District V, in an atmosphere of joy, festivity and popular tradition, which began at 6:00 in the afternoon with the presentation of the 14 candidates to queens from the different neighborhoods of this district, who will compete for the crown.

"The contest is being developed with a lot of attendance of residents of District V, who enjoy the different folklore costumes and equestrian costumes of the candidates for queen of the Patron Saint Festivities of Managua 2021," said the Mayor of Managua, partner Reyna Rueda Alvarado.

Among the parameters to be taken into account by the qualifying jury, there is the catwalk of equestrian and folk costumes where each candidate will talk about the patron saint festivities of Santo Domingo de Guzmán.

This election in the semifinal stage is being carried out in the seven districts of Managua, the grand final will be on August 4, when the election to the Municipal Queen of the Patron Saint Festivities of Santo Domingo de Guzmán will take place.
