Children's baseball tournament in tribute to the 67th anniversary of the birth of Commander Hugo Chávez Frías

In commemoration of the 67th anniversary of the birth of Commander Hugo Rafael Chávez Frías, the Mayor of Managua held this Wednesday, July 28, the inauguration of a Children's Baseball Championship that will be held for 3 days and in which 8 teams from various departments will participate. among them: Estelí, Rivas, Nandaime Chontales, León, San Rafael del Sur and Managua.

Children aged 12 and 13 will participate in this championship and they will be playing on July 29, 30 and 31 at the Roberto Clemente Stadium, located in the Luis Alfonso Velázquez Flores Park and at the Comandante Hugo Chávez Sports Complex.

The Mayor of Managua, Reyna Rueda Alvarado, explained that this championship and the promotion of the sport commemorate the birth of Chávez, who worked for the unity and freedom of Latin America.
