Dignified Housing Program brings security to a family in the Costa Rica neighborhood

In greeting to the 42 anniversary of the triumph of the Sandinista Popular Revolution and making the dream of our Heroes and Martyrs come true, the Good Government through the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua built a new decent home for the family of Mrs. Alba Rosa Telica of the Costa Rica neighborhood, thus improving their living conditions, due to the fact that for many years they lived in precarious and vulnerable conditions to the adversities of the climate.

This dignified house was built by the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua, with the solidarity support of Taiwan, through this emblematic program that promotes Good Government, in attention to the most needy families of our Capital city.

The keys to this new dignified home were given to the main family, by the Vice Mayor of Managua, Enrique Armas Rosales and Mr. Jaime Chin-Mu Wu, Ambassador of Taiwan in Nicaragua who expressed the commitment of both governments to continue supporting this program of love and restitution of rights.

For her part, the rights protagonist Alba Rosa Telica thanked the Good Government and the solidarity of Taiwan for the support provided with the construction of her new house, in which she will no longer be in danger, nor will she be afraid of getting wet from the rain.

The Vice Mayor stated that in this community of District IV, the Good Government has built, in recent years, 9 decent homes, thus improving the living conditions of the same number of leading families.

Likewise, he announced that, in this capital neighborhood, from 2014 to date, the Municipality has invested around 5 million córdobas in road improvement projects and rainwater drainage, through the reworking of streets, construction of platforms pedestrian and construction of storm drain covers.

Similarly, he explained that, in this year 2021, 29 million 572 thousand córdobas will be invested, of which 17.5 million will be for the execution of 17 major works projects and minor works; as well as 12 million for the Streets for the People Program.
