Fulfilling the commitment to improve the living conditions of the capital's families, the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua executed a water and sanitation project in the Benedicto Valverde neighborhood of District IV, through which living conditions were improved to 887 families in this community.
This common good project had an investment of 10.4 million córdobas and consisted of the installation of the new sanitary drainage system, the construction of 11 manholes, 45 manholes and the connection of 45 homes to the sanitary sewer system and drinking water; In addition, 200 linear meters of alleys were paved with hydraulic concrete.
This work was inaugurated and delivered to the community, by comrade Enrique Armas Rosales, Vice Mayor of Managua, who stated that a sign of this political will is that in recent years the Good Government has allocated an investment of 47 million 28 thousand cordobas, for the execution of various projects for road improvement, storm drainage, water and sanitation, as well as the construction of 105 decent homes in this capital neighborhood.
For their part, the residents were happy and thanked the Good Government for the various works carried out to dignify the lives of the families of this community, as stated by Mr. Álvaro Espinales, a resident of the sector, who said he felt satisfied with the execution of this project.
