The merchants of the Oriental market will carry out during all the weekends of the month of July, promotions and discounts on clothing and footwear for Nicaraguan families, these prices of fairs, will be held in view of the August festivities to be held in the month of August.

To guarantee the safety of the visitors, the merchants keep organized the surveillance and the hygienic sanitary security measures that must be applied in the shopping centers.

The Secretary of the Managua Council, Jennifer Porras López, explained that the effort of the Municipality is aimed at promoting the fluidity of visitors and the safety of the merchants who work in the Oriental.

"We continue to focus our efforts so that the markets are always well supplied, always clean, that families can access discounts and promotions that allow their money to go more, our goal is to support the 18 thousand merchants who work in this market, for us the markets represent the local economic stability that we have as a municipality, we have prepared strongly so that the rains do not affect us, we have 60 permanent workers in this market who work from 6:00 in the morning and a security body of 200 companions, organized into 12 permanent vigilance groups ”, he explained.

Likewise, Porras explained that due to the size of the Eastern market, night cleaning days have been organized, which in the first 5 months of the year have evacuated a thousand cubic meters of garbage, in addition to the amount that is always evacuated, which is 3,200 cubic meters, "Today in the Oriental is something that is being worked on permanently," he said.

The merchant Alberto Blass has been working in this market for 10 years and assured that there is a wide assortment of clothing, with new merchandise and great discounts.

"We are offering customers good discounts on clothing and footwear, for example, on Saturdays 2 pants for 500 córdobas, we are also offering all the seasonal clothing for the August festivities, here the customer only has to come and ask for the offers of the weekend ”.
