On the morning of this Tuesday, June 29, comrade Fidel Moreno, Secretary General of the Mayor's Office of Managua, made a supervision visit to the road improvement project in the Tierra Prometida neighborhood, which is carried out through the Streets for the People 2021 Program.
During this visit, it was announced that this program has progressed the 60%, to date, with 498 blocks completed, of the 830 projected to be executed this year and explained that, at this rate, the 100% is expected to be completed next November and in the month of December, additional works would be developed.
He also explained that this road improvement work in the Tierra Prometida neighborhood consists of the asphalt paving of 3 new blocks, with an investment of more than 1.2 million córdobas, directly benefiting more than 4,600 inhabitants of this community of the District III of Managua.
It is important to point out that, in recent years, the Good Government has carried out road improvement works, storm drainage and sanitary sewerage; in addition to the construction of 27 decent homes, with an investment that exceeds 14 million cordobas.
