Doña Flor de María, who lived for 20 years in her humble home, is a single mother of 4 children and earns her living as a domestic worker, very happy she expressed that she never imagined seeing her dream come true, “my house was at risk, quite deteriorated My children feel happy, for the rainy season I would get up at midnight, because the water would get in. Thank God we are going to sleep peacefully and the government because I have received a lot of support in terms of roof, food ”.
The opening ceremony and delivery of the keys to the house was carried out by the Secretary of the Managua Council, Jennifer Porras López and the Minister Counselor of Taiwan in Nicaragua, Mr. Iván Lo.
The diplomat Lo, affirmed that for his government each delivery is a mission accomplished, because it is a great joy for people in need.
"We are supporting these social projects, in different neighborhoods of the Capital, we know the needs of the people who really require the support of the Good Government and for our embassy it is a great honor to have the opportunity to work together with the Managua authorities", Lo stressed.
The Secretary of the Council stated that the Dignified Housing Program promoted by the Sandinista Government of Commander Daniel and the Vice President, Compañera Rosario Murillo, from 2012 to the present day, in 9 years has built 46 homes in this neighborhood, including that of today.
Likewise, it reported that since 2013, 40 million 472 thousand 450 córdobas have been invested in the construction of the road network, 55 percent of the streets of the neighborhood have been lined with the three modalities, cobblestone, asphalt and concrete, construction of the storm drainage system, benefiting 1,382 main families.
The municipal authorities also announced that for this year they will continue working and carrying out projects in District VI, through the Annual Investment Plan, with an investment of 46 million cordobas, with which 21 projects will be executed between major works. and minor works.
With the Calles para el Pueblo 2021 program, the capital's commune will invest 15 million córdobas and will benefit the neighborhoods: Villa José Benito Escobar, Hugo Chávez, B 15, José Dolores Estrada, La Primavera and Villa Dignidad.
