Single Mother receives her decent home and thanks the Good Government authorities

Doña Xiomara María Orozco Orozco and her three children will spend a quiet winter, their house built of zinc sheets is left behind. This afternoon, the Good Government made her the beneficiary of a new house, which was built by the Municipality, with the unconditional support of the brother people of (China) Taiwan, in the Carlos Núñez neighborhood, District II of the Capital.

The protagonist is a single mother, to support her children she goes through many difficulties, she sells sweets and fruits on the outskirts of her home and at the neighborhood school, but today she feels happy and blessed to receive the keys to her new house, where you can raise your little ones with dignity. "I thank God, the Government and China (Taiwan), who fulfilled my dream that I waited so long for."

The house was delivered by the Mayor of Managua, Reyna Rueda Alvarado and the Ambassador of Taiwan, Mr. Jaime Chin-Mu Wu.

The representative of the Taiwanese mission, Mr. Wu, said he was happy and very satisfied to support social projects of the Good Government, “it is a project that touches our hearts because it benefits many poor families and helps reduce the social and economic vulnerabilities of the Nicaraguans ”.

The diplomat also assured that his Government will continue to support these welfare efforts for families by expanding this project to other municipalities, a total of 50 municipalities will benefit from decent houses.

For her part, Mayor Reyna Rueda reaffirmed the Sandinista Government's commitment to give continuity to programs and projects that benefit Nicaraguan families, “we are very grateful for the trust, faith and hope that thousands of families have in our Good Government and in the direct care strategies that it implements ”.

Likewise, Rueda announced that only in the Carlos Núñez neighborhood 60 homes have been delivered to the same number of families; He also highlighted that other progress works have been carried out, such as the improvement in 15 streets with hydraulic concrete that allows this community to travel on dignified streets, there was improvement in storm drainage, water and sanitation projects, as well as mitigation works, with the stabilization of slopes in various sectors of the neighborhood.

This activity of restitution of rights was carried out in a festive atmosphere, with a clown show painting faces for the children and a day of medical attention to the residents, who received free medicine.
