Family from the Esquipulas region receives Dignified Housing

Under a cool afternoon, this Tuesday, June 8, the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua with the solidarity support of the brotherly people of Taiwan, delivered a new Dignified Housing to the protagonist Darling Johanna Díaz Espinoza and her family, inhabitants of sector 2 of the Esquipulas region, in District V of the Capital.

The protagonist, who works as a home assistant, said she felt very happy because now she will live safely and calmly with her 4 children, without fear of the rain.

“Thanks to the government we have, today I am going to enjoy this new house, thank God he gave it to me, I did not expect it, I am not going to get wet, my previous house was made of zinc and I had no money to build, now we will be insurance, "said Dona Darling.

The opening ceremony and the handing over of the keys were presided over by the Vice Mayor of Managua, Enrique Armas Rosales, and the Minister Counselor of Taiwan in Nicaragua, Mr. Iván Lo.

The diplomat expressed the satisfaction of his government in helping the most vulnerable families and affirmed that they will continue to support all the social programs that the Good Government executes.

“Today we are not only celebrating the delivery of a decent home for Ms. Darling's family, we also bring good news the signing of an agreement with Dr. Guillermo González, Minister of Sinapred, to build 1,573 solidarity homes for families in critical conditions. , in 13 departments and 50 municipalities of the country, in a period of one year and with an investment of 4,500 thousand córdobas ”, stated Lo.

For his part, the Deputy Mayor Armas announced that since 2012 to date, a total of 12 homes have been built in this sector, including today. This region has a little more than 7,580 inhabitants.

“We are very happy to deliver one more house to a companion who was in urgent need, house number 12, thanks to the brothers from Taiwan for the collaboration they have with the government of Commander Daniel and the Vice President, Compañera Rosario Murillo, solidarity that thanks to God goes to continue for many more years, they will donate more decent homes to benefit the poorest sectors of our country, "said Armas.

Likewise, he reported that in this area road improvement projects have been carried out with asphalt and hydraulic concrete, storm drainage, channel stabilization with the construction of fords, gabions and ditches, in addition to the construction of parks for the recreation of families.
