This Monday, June 7, the comrade Reyna Rueda Alvarado, Mayor of the Citizen Power of Managua and Mrs. Algelia Arriaga García, Municipal President of the Puebla City Council, Mexico signed an act of twinning between both Latin American cities, a historic event that was carried out through a virtual meeting.
This agreement seeks to strengthen the ties of friendship and cooperation between the two peoples, exchanging experiences, as well as, in commercial, cultural, sports, environmental and tourism agreements.
At this meeting, Mayor Rueda presented the work of the Güegüense, represented by national artists, also expressed that, with this signature, an exchange is carried out on the different topics that will contribute to the well-being of the Nicaraguan population.
In this virtual twinning, in addition to the signatories, were present delegates from the Puebla City Council, Mexico and the Managua Mayor's Office, the Nicaraguan Ambassador to Mexico, Juan Carlos Gutiérrez Madrigal and the Advisory Minister for Policies and International Affairs, Martha Ruiz Sevilla.
