Environmental Action Plan begins in Villa Dignidad

In greeting to World Environment Day and the beginning of the Environmental Action Plan in Villa Dignidad, the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua held an environmental conference at the Tomás Borge Martínez educational center.

This activity was chaired by Mayor Reyna Rueda Alvarado, who swore in the ecological brigade of this educational center, being made up of 60 students from the 5th and 6th grade of primary school; Likewise, 5 trash cans were installed, which were located in strategic places in this school.

Likewise, Rueda said that with this day, the environmental action plan begins in Villa Dignidad, it will continue to be developed through training for teachers, as well as, with the implementation of awareness, cleaning and reforestation days to contribute to the well-being of families and the integral development of society. 

This environmental work is part of the "A Green School for All" campaign, which is carried out by Good Government and aims to promote the care and conservation of Mother Earth, guarantee good habits in the proper management of waste, as well as as, promote the rational administration of natural resources.

With the implementation of this day, the implementation of the Environmental Action Plan begins in 4 urbanizations of social interest, which were built by the Good Government, these being Villa Jerusalen, Ciudad Belén, Villa Virgen de Guadalupe and Villa Dignidad.
