This Tuesday June 1st, in celebration of Children's Day, the Mayor's Office of Citizen Power of Managua with the solidarity support of Taiwan delivered a new decent home in Villa Reconciliation Norte, benefiting the family of Mrs. Rosa Matilde Pérez, who lived in precarious and vulnerable conditions in the face of adverse weather conditions.
This dignified home was inaugurated and delivered by the Mayor of Managua Reyna Rueda Alvarado and His Excellency the Ambassador of Taiwan, Jaime Chin-Mu Wu, who expressed his satisfaction to see that the solidarity of his people and government directly benefits the most needy families.
The protagonist expressed her gratitude to the Good Government and the solidarity of Taiwan, for the construction of her new home, in which she will live in a safe and more protected way in the winter they will spend it, without fear of the rain that used to pass throughout the home, so she said she was very happy about her new dignified home.
For her part, Mayor Rueda expressed the Good Government's commitment to continue transforming the living conditions of Nicaraguan families, through these projects and programs for restitution of rights.
Likewise, he explained that, in the last 12 years, in this capital neighborhood, the Sandinista Government has built 36 decent homes and has invested a little more than 54 million córdobas in road improvement works and storm drainage, for all the families of the sector.
The inauguration of this dignified home took place in a festive atmosphere with the children of the community, to whom the Mayor and the Ambassador of Taiwan gave toys and candies, as well as a recreational afternoon with piñatas and face-painting clowns.
