Capital authorities celebrate Children's Day in Child Development Centers

This 1st. In June, on International Children's Day, the Municipality held a recreational morning with games, dances, piñatas, little clowns, face painting, and gift giving to children who attend the Child Development Centers (CDI) in Managua.

The Mayor of Managua, Reyna Rueda Alvarado explained that the services provided in the CDIs are part of the complementary policies promoted by the Good Government of the Sandinista Front, to respond to the needs of mothers who have to work and do not have who takes care of their children.

"We are throwing the house out the window to celebrate the spoiled of the house, this celebration we are doing simultaneously in the 13 CDI that we have in the different districts, as part of the comprehensive care received by children, mothers who they bring their children here, they go to work calmly because they know that the staff who take care of and take care of their children do it in a comprehensive way and the payment of fees is something symbolic, ”said Rueda.

The Director of the CDI San Antonio, Yezca Artola, explained that the children arrive from the early hours of the day.

“Here we serve 90 children from Monday to Friday, from 7:00 in the morning until 5:00 in the afternoon, we have different levels; maternal and pre-school preparatory levels, children in the morning receive teachings according to their learning system, after lunch we carry out recreational activities with them, here the pedagogical activities and entertainment have a program ”.

Currently in the 13 CDIs there are 611 minors who are treated comprehensively. Parents who wish to register their children must present the following requirements; Child's birth certificate, vaccination card, minor's health certificate every six months, parental salary certificate or income statement if there is no salary certificate, and a photocopy of the parents' certificates.
