To the sound of marimbas, folk dances and artistic presentations, more than 100 merchants held a perishable goods fair on the eve of celebrating the Nicaraguan mother.
At this fair, visitors had the opportunity to purchase fresh products for home consumption at low costs, such as a pound of potatoes and onions from 8 cordobas per pound.
The Vice Mayor of Managua, Enrique Armas Rosales on behalf of all the workers of the Municipality, congratulated all the mothers who work since dawn, day by day in all the capital markets, to raise their families.
During his visit, Armas gave a present to the merchant mothers and visitors to this shopping center and highlighted the important role they play in their homes, "with an invaluable love they dedicate their entire lives to raising their children," he said.
