After living for 14 years in poor conditions, Mrs. Jacqueline del Carmen Morales Narváez and her family will be able to sleep peacefully, thanks to their new decent home, built by the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua with the support of the brotherly people of Taiwan.
The new home was handed over to the main family by the Secretary of the Managua Council, Jennifer Porras López and the Minister Counselor of Taiwan in Nicaragua, Mr. Iván Lo, in the Amanda Aguilar neighborhood of District V.
Totally grateful Mrs. Jacqueline, who lives with her husband and her 3 daughters, expressed that from today she will live more comfortably and calmly, “thank God and my Commander and the First Lady, because I will no longer have sleepless nights, now let it rain whatever it wants ”.
"We are happy with the Mayor's Office of Managua for delivering one more home, so that Mrs. Jacqueline has a safe life, there is no better gift than delivering a solidarity home, especially because families suffer in the rainy season," said diplomat Lo .
With this housing program that promotes Good Government, from 2012 to date, more than 10 homes have been built in this sector, "a very important emblematic program, not only for families who are at risk, but all those vulnerable families that have never had the possibility of having a decent home, as is the orientation of our government led by Commander Daniel and the Vice President, Compañera Rosario, who are attentive to all the families they need, "said the Secretary of the Council of Managua.
Likewise, he informed that for this year the Municipality, through the Annual Investment Plan, will invest 25 million córdobas in District V, with which 20 projects will be executed, of these 5 projects are major works and 15 minor works projects ( construction of ditches, platforms and gutter covers)
Of the 5 major works projects, 2 projects are storm drainage, 1 sanitary sewerage project, 1 water and sanitation project (sanitary module).
Meanwhile, the Streets for the People Program will invest 16 million córdobas, benefiting 5 neighborhoods among them; Francisco Salazar, Pantasma, Grenada, Vista del Xolotlán and Sócrates Sandino.
The opening ceremony was also accompanied by neighboring families, who enjoyed the presentation of cultural numbers, declamation of poems, clown show and face painting.
