With an explosive amateur boxing card, the Managua 2021 Youth Games began on the night of this Friday, April 23 at the Roger Deshon gym in the San Judas neighborhood, where different young pugilism promises showed their great talent in the ring.
"Worthy evening of the Managua 2021 Youth Games where the best promises of this sporting discipline and members of the Boxing Selection were, each one of these young people is seen in the figure of our legend Alexis Argüello and they want to come to represent their country" commented Comrade Enrique Armas Rosales, Vice Mayor of Managua.
Likewise, the mayor of the capital expressed that this effort is part of the promotion of sport in its different disciplines promoted by Good Government led by Commander Daniel Ortega and the Vice President, Compañera Rosario Murillo, “thanks to the great support, we all have sports activities the days, that's why we are the capital of Latin American and Caribbean sports ”.
In this card, the Roger Deshon gym school, the Nicaraguan Sports Institute (IND) Selection, Roberto Huembes, the Iván Montenegro Academy participated, as well as the representation of the South Caribbean, where the fighter claimed victory.
The evening consisted of eight fights that made the audience vibrate, seven male fights and one female.
