In greeting and paying honor, at the 200th anniversary of the Independence of Central America, the Good Government began the construction of the Bicentennial Park of Central America, a work that is incorporated into the rehabilitation of the historic center of Managua, as a cultural, recreational, sports and recreation for families.
The design and location of this new park was presented by comrade Fidel Moreno Briones, Secretary General of the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua, who announced that this work is being carried out on the North Dupla, as a recreational space, which gives continuity to the beautiful walk that begins with the "Bell of Peace", built in 2020, the Monument to Peace completed in 2019, as well as the pedestrian bridge that connects the Luis Alfonso Velásquez Flores park with the Plaza August 22nd.
He also explained that this park will have an area of 5 thousand square meters, on a space with abundant vegetation, where a walk will be built, in which a water route of a little more than 110 meters in length will be enjoyed, which has 2 main bodies of water, representing the nature of our beautiful Nicaragua, with its 2 beautiful large lakes, but also symbolizing the 2 centenary of the Independence of Central America, collecting the essential elements of life, such as air, fire, water and the peace.
This park began to be built on April 21 and its execution will last for 90 days, that is, it is expected that the work will be completed, by July 19 or 20 of this year.
