To the sound of mariachi, cultural events and much joy, Managua authorities and residents of the Pedro Aráuz Palacios neighborhood in District IV, celebrated the inauguration of 8 new blocks that were previously in poor condition, as part of the effort made by the Good Government to restoring the rights of capital families.
This road improvement project, which is part of the emblematic Calles para el Pueblo 2021 Program, had a significant investment of 800,000 córdobas and benefits 1,200 inhabitants of this sector of the capital.
The work was inaugurated and delivered to the families of this neighborhood, by comrade Enrique Armas Rosales, Vice Mayor of the Citizen Power of Managua.
"Today we are inaugurating 8 streets, with the joy of the residents who had been requesting this work from the Capital Municipality and it has been carried out thanks to the instructions given by Commander Daniel and Compañera Rosario," said the mayor of the capital.
He assured that the neighborhood already has all its paved and lighted streets, in addition to having basic electricity and drinking water services.
Franklin Moreno, the protagonist of this work, said he felt happy about this change in life, "it is a dream come true for the families of this part of the capital, before these streets were with pure holes, now they will be very beautiful," he said.
The municipal authorities assured that for this year in District IV, the Municipality will continue with road improvement works, through the Streets for the People Program, with the construction of 38 new streets.
