Road improvement and storm drainage work benefits families in the San José Oriental neighborhood

The Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua advances in the execution of projects of the common good, to bring well-being to the capital families, this Thursday, March 18, the work of road improvement and storm drainage was inaugurated in the San José Oriental neighborhood of the District IV.

This work of restitution of rights, had an investment of more than 450 thousand cordobas consisted of the lining with ready-mixed concrete of an alley and the construction of the storm drain in this area, which previously in the winter season caused flooding and damage at 15 families that live in this sector.

The work was inaugurated in a family and community environment, and was delivered by the Vice Mayor of Managua, Enrique Armas Rosales, who announced that this work was carried out with the aim of improving the living conditions of families in the sector and detailed that, with this road improvement, all the paved streets of this capital neighborhood are completed.

For their part, the residents of this area were happy and satisfied with the execution of this work, as stated by Madeling Guerrero, who said that for many years these families were affected by the rains, so it was necessary to meet their demands .

In the last 10 years, the Good Government has executed several projects for the common good, in this neighborhood of District IV, with an investment of 24 million 815 thousand 232 córdobas, with which the community park was rehabilitated in 2016, In 2011, a road improvement work was carried out; in 2010, works were carried out to widen the channel and its complementary works; in addition to the rehabilitation of the Nicarao Gymnasium.
