Committed to improving the quality of life of families in the capital, the Managua Citizen Power Mayor's Office paved one of the main streets of the José Dolores Estrada neighborhood on the afternoon of this Friday, March 12.
This work for the common good consisted of the asphalt coating of almost 4 blocks that were in their natural state and with which the 95% of the paved streets of the entire neighborhood is reached.
The work was inaugurated and handed over to the community by the Mayor of Managua, Reyna Rueda Alvarado, who expressed the commitment of the Good Government to dignify the living conditions of families in the capital; He mentioned that this road improvement project is part of the Calles para el Pueblo 2021 Program, which this year plans to build 830 new blocks.
He also highlighted that this work significantly improves the living conditions of the protagonist families, a paved street, translates into a reduction in the sources of disease caused by dust storms in the summer and puddles in the winter; In addition, it improves access to the communities for emergency services, police patrols, garbage collection, as well as transportation income.
Likewise, Mayor Rueda stressed that in this neighborhood of District VI, the Municipality has executed a little more than 26 million córdobas in recent years, through works that guarantee the well-being of the families of this community, including road improvement works. , reconstruction of the school and the health center, in addition to the construction of 20 decent homes for the same number of protagonist families.
