The first division volleyball semifinal began in Managua

This weekend, the first match of the women's first division volleyball semifinal was held in Managua, where the four best teams met, from this tournament that took place during the last 2 months, with the participation of 8 teams from different departments of the country.

The first game was held at the Spain Sports Center, between the Leonas de Managua and the Frente Sur de Rivas, where the first of three games was played, to win 2 of 3 this semifinal series; On Sunday March 7, in the gymnasium of the Nicaraguan Institute of Sports, it will be the second game of this series in which Las Panteras and Real Estelí will meet.

The game on Saturday March 06 was won by Las Leonas de Managua, 3 sets to 2 and the second game between these finalists, will be held next weekend in the city of Rivas, and likewise, Las Panteras and Real Estelí will play in the Diamond of Las Segovias.

Comrade Noel González, Director of Sports of the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua expressed that this tournament is part of the support for sport that Commander Daniel provides to Nicaraguan youth, he also stressed that these activities contribute to the development of this sports discipline .
