A new delivery of decent housing was made this February 24, in the Jorge Dimitrov neighborhood, to the protagonist Miriam Francisca Torrez and her family, thus guaranteeing her a safe and quiet environment in which to live.
The opening ceremony of the house was chaired by the Secretary of the Managua Council, Jennifer Porras López and Mr. Iván Lu, Minister Counselor of the Embassy of Taiwan in Nicaragua.
“For us it is a pride and a great satisfaction to be fulfilling a mandate of our Government through this emblematic program such as solidarity housing. Doña Miriam, was more than 30 years old and had not had the opportunity to make improvements, she was in precarious conditions, but now she will have a better life, said Companera Jennifer Porras, secretary of the Managua Council.
Likewise, Mr. Iván Lu, Minister Counselor of the Embassy of Taiwan in Nicaragua said he was happy to have transformed the life of the family of the protagonist Miriam Torres, “we are happy to give this home to this family, we are always happy to change it life to these people who live in vulnerable conditions ”.
For her part, the protagonist thanked God and the Good Government that she will no longer get wet in rainy weather “we had to walk with buckets, panas collecting water at midnight. This is a dream, after 30 years living in a dilapidated house, now I have this new and very beautiful one. I'm very happy, "said the protagonist.
