This indicator was released during the supervision visit to the construction project of 10 new blocks in the Pantasma neighborhood, where comrade Fidel Moreno Briones, Secretary General, explained that this road improvement is given an asphalt layer, with the prior placement of the base and sub base; the work that has an investment of 2 million 56 thousand 500 córdobas and will directly benefit almost 3 thousand protagonists of this community in District V of the capital.
Likewise, he stated that this project allows the main families to enjoy better living conditions, avoiding the sources of diseases produced by dust on the streets in the summer or the ponds in the winter; In addition, that now in these new streets vehicles will be able to circulate in a better way on these roads, selective transport will be able to enter, as well as emergency services and garbage collection.
It is important to highlight that in this capital neighborhood, the Good Government has developed 5 works, from 2010 to date, among them the construction of 22 decent houses, the paving of streets and the construction of the storm drain in 2010, as well as the road improvement with hydraulic concrete in 2013, with a total investment of approximately 10 million 202 thousand 664 córdobas.
Comrade Fidel Moreno expressed that in the last 14 years, through the Streets for the People Program, the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua, has managed to improve more than 12 thousand blocks, between totally new streets or totally rebuilt streets.
