In greeting to the 169th anniversary of Managua having been elevated to the Capital of the Republic, the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power organized the popular race "Hope Victorious with Love and Friendship", as part of the promotion of sport in the youth and adolescents of the city of Managua .
More than 500 runners from the different neighborhoods of Managua participated in this competition, who competed in 2 categories for women and 2 categories for men, in a journey of approximately one kilometer that stretches from Los Scout Park to the Arboretum, located in the Avenida de Bolívar to Chávez.
Comrade Noel González, Director of Sports of the Municipality, expressed the commitment of the Good Government to continue working to guarantee sporting events in all its disciplines.
He also announced that next Saturday, February 13 and Sunday, February 14, a weightlifting competition will be held at the Alexis Argüello Sports Center.
