The Bride of Xolotlán celebrates its 169 years of having been elevated to Capital of the Republic

With an artistic gala, defeat of culture, music and tradition, the Mayor's Office of Citizen Power of Managua held this Friday, February 5, a tribute to the 169th anniversary of Managua having been elevated to the Capital of the Republic of Nicaragua.

In this artistic event, the Tepenahuatl folkloric ballet and the Chamber of Nicaragua contemporary dance group participated, as well as the municipal musical band and the Carlos Fonseca municipal choir, who performed songs alluding to the Capital and its traditions.

Comrade Enrique Armas Rosales, Vice Mayor of Managua, expressed that this activity is part of the festivities that will take place in greeting to the 169th anniversary of Managua.
