Under a sun that illuminates us and that never declines, families from the Georginito neighborhood of District V of Managua celebrated the inauguration of 7 new blocks of streets lined with asphalt, which were executed as part of the Streets for the People Program.
This work for the common good was delivered to the families of this community, by comrade Enrique Armas Rosales, Vice Mayor of Managua, who announced that this road improvement project directly benefits 763 residents of this neighborhood, which had an investment of more than 2 million córdobas.
Similarly, he pointed out that, in recent years, the Good Government has executed 4 projects for road improvement and storm drainage in this community in District V of Managua, with a total investment of 11 million 937 thousand 648 córdobas; works that have contributed to dignify the lives of many families in the capital city, eliminating sources of contamination produced by the dust generated by dirt roads in the summer and ponds in the winter season.
He also highlighted that in this year 2021, through the Annual Investment Plan, 20 projects will be executed in District V, with an investment of 25 million córdobas and with the Streets for the People Program, the living conditions of the neighborhoods: Francisco Salazar, Pantasma, Grenada, Vista del Xolotlán and Sócrates Sandino, with an investment of 16 million córdobas; In other words, in the entire district V, 41 million córdobas will be invested in this year 2021.
