In compliance with municipal resolution 10-2021 of the Honorable Council of Managua, issued in the ordinary session number 36, the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua extended the period for the delivery of vehicles held in the Vehicle Deposit between the year 2013 and the 30 of June 2020, who will not be charged by the Municipality.
Through a press conference, the Deputy Mayor of Managua, Enrique Armas Rosales announced that for the delivery of the cars, the Municipality extended the deadline, from February 1 to March 31, 2021, giving the owners an extension. for the withdrawal of their means of transport.
Comrade Noel Antonio Muñoz, head of the Managua Vehicle Depot reported that until June 30, 2020, 2,114 motorcycles and 331 vehicles are being held (including cars, trucks or minibuses); Likewise, he added, that until last year, 983 were withdrawn, according to the municipal ordinance approved by the City Council.
Likewise, the Deputy Mayor of Managua invited vehicle owners to appear at the Municipal Depository with the circulation and the certificate of delivery of the property, issued by the National Police Traffic Directorate, for said delivery to be made.
"It is no longer necessary to even go to National Transit for the delivery certificate, here the brothers of the Police have an area where they attend and deliver the documentation to proceed with the withdrawal of their vehicle in this Municipal Vehicle Deposit," said Armas.
