Working with love, to guarantee the common good through the progress and future of the capital's families, the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua carried out a road improvement work and rainwater drainage in the 25 de Febrero neighborhood, with an investment of 3 million 685 thousand córdobas.
This work consisted in the construction of the storm drainage system in this area of the neighborhood, which was a critical point in District VII, through the installation of pipes, drains and visitor wells; as well as the paving of 5 blocks of streets with hydraulic concrete, directly benefiting more than 200 families in this community, who previously were affected by the poor condition of the streets that were impassable and became sources of contamination by the dust storms in summer and the ponds in the winter.
The work was inaugurated and delivered to the community, by comrade Reyna Rueda Alvarado, Mayor of the Citizen Power of Managua, who expressed the commitment of the Good Government to continue improving the living conditions of the families of these neighborhoods of District VII, where In the last 9 years, the Municipality has invested approximately 22 million córdobas in works for the common good.
He also explained that these works to restore rights will continue to be carried out in this district of the capital, in which 20 million córdobas will be invested with the Calles para el Pueblo Program and 30 million córdobas in the execution of other progress works, through the Annual Investment Plan for 2021.
