Indoor volleyball academy in the Luis Alfonso Velásquez park prepares for this 2021

In victorious hopes and moving forward to guarantee the promotion and development of sport, in its different disciplines, the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua, began the practices in the municipal academy of indoor volleyball, for young people, children and adolescents of our capital city.

The beginning of the teaching of this sport was inaugurated by the Vice Mayor of Managua, Enrique Armas Rosales and Mrs. Bertha Cuadra, President of the Nicaraguan Volleyball Federation, in a family and community environment, with the participation of athletes from different categories.

Comrade Enrique Armas Rosales, highlighted the effort made by the Good Government to strengthen this sport, which has been having good results, demonstrated in the competitions in which these athletes have participated; This academy was born 2 years ago with 28 participants and now has 160 athletes in training.

He also called on parents and guardians to integrate their children into this academy and explained that it has no cost, meaning that the classes are free; He also announced that classes for the male category are on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 3:00 to 6:00 in the afternoon and for women on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the same time.
