In Commemoration of "World Environmental Education Day" this coming January 26, the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua launched the Environmental Plan for the year 2021.
All the projects and programs that are going to be executed through the Environment Directorate have as their main objective; strengthen environmental education in all sectors of the population, so that they acquire knowledge and awareness of the environmental problems identified in the Municipality, getting involved in actions and projects promoted by the Municipality of Managua, for the protection of natural resources and the environment .
"This plan of activities of the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua in favor of caring for the environment in 2021 is very important," said the Vice Mayor of the capital, Enrique Armas Rosales.
Likewise, Armas stated that this work plan carried out by the Municipal Environmental Management Directorate for the care of the lagoons of the Capital is very important.
